Consignment loading/offloading sample stations
Where train loading is normally associated with only one type of material consignment e.g. coal or iron, ore etc., in contrast, train offloading at many industrial of works e.g. steel making foundries, will involve various types of material such as coal, coke, dolomite, silica, iron ore or ferroalloys. Cost effective, flexible and reliable sampling installations need to be provided in a central facility.
Equipment
- Hammer or belt end cross- cut samplers to take primary increments.
- Vibratory or belt feeders to feed two way splitters for providing separate chemical and physical samples.
- Crushing and/ or division of chemical samples for manageable final sample size.
- Vibratory ( singles- multi deck) screens for monitoring material degradation or size distribution.
- Up to 20 container carousels or table indexers for sample collection over 24 hours for various material consignments.
Benefits
- Capital cost savings associated with a single, but flexible and effective sampling plant.
- Sampling "purge " cycles to prevent contamination between material consignments.
- Various materials can be sampled off same process conveyor.
- Automatically adjustable secondary cutters for handling different sized or types of material.
- Controlled final chemical/physical sample sizes for various materials.
Features
- PLC controlled sampling of multiple products associated with all bulk materials handling systems.
- Projects provided and managed on a turnkey basis.
- Adherence to all relevant ISO, ASTM, DIN JIS and other international sampling standards.
